Region\u00e1ln\u00ed muzeum Celje p\u0159edstavuje \u010d\u00e1st sv\u00fdch sb\u00edrek v budov\u011b, kterou n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvn\u00edci znaj\u00ed jako Stara grofija. Se svou mohutnou, jednotnou ji\u017en\u00ed fas\u00e1dou hled\u00ed na n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed \u0159eky Savinja a dominuje ji\u017en\u00edmu v\u00fdhledu m\u011bsta. Star\u00e1 grofija byla postavena v letech po roce 1580 hraby Thurn – Valsassina, co\u017e potvrzuje rodinn\u00fd erb na fas\u00e1d\u011b. V letech 1622\u20131640 byly p\u0159id\u00e1ny ark\u00e1dov\u00e9 chodby a n\u00e1dvo\u0159\u00ed bylo ohrani\u010deno. Rezidence z\u016fstala ve vlastnictv\u00ed hrab\u016f Thurn – Valsassina a\u017e do roku 1869, kdy ji m\u011bstsk\u00e1 obec koupila na dra\u017eb\u011b. V adaptovan\u00e9 budov\u011b si m\u011bstsk\u00e1 z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u0161kola za\u0159\u00eddila prostory a po roce 1914 se sem nast\u011bhoval okresn\u00ed soud.
